Mary Earps Shortlisted for 2023 Best FIFA Keeper Award

Mary Earps of England is one of the final three keepers up for the Best FIFA Keeper award.

Manchester United’s Earps, 30, won the Golden Glove award for best goalkeeper as England reached the final in August. Spain’s World Cup winner Catalina Coll and West Ham’s Australia keeper Mackenzie Arnold are also in contention for the women’s prize.

Winners will be revealed at The Best Fifa Football Awards 2023 in London on January 15, 2024.

Last month, Earps was named the best female footballer by the BBC. During the 2022–23 season, she set a new record for the Women’s Super League with 14 clean sheets for Manchester United, helping the Red Devils to a second-place finish. Her performance was outstanding both for her team and her country.

In addition to honouring the greatest male and female players and coaches of 2023, the awards also include categories for fair play, best goal of the year, and a Fifa fan award.
