Lady Emem Ibanga is an entrepreneur and politician who ran for a seat ahead of 2023 in the Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly for the Nsit Atai Constituency. She had served as Nsit Atai local government council chairperson. However, in May Ms Ibanga crashed out of the race as she lost out to Prince Aniefiok Attah
Education and Career
Ms Ibanga attended the University of Uyo to study Political Science / Public Administration, she obtained Bachelor of Science Degree (B. Sc) in 2005. She also holds a Master Degree in Political Science.
Work Experience
Ms Ibanga had set up a private business, EMMADEE FROZEN FOODS (NIG), and between 2008 and 2011 she served as its Regional Manager. Ms Ibanga also served on contract as a Logistic Coordinator for Exxon Mobil, Eket and later on got employed into the Akwa Ibom State Civil Service, where she served as a Community Development Officer 11 from 2011 to 2017.
