Kenya: 13 Women Have Been Nominated by Ruto for CAS Posts.

13 women have been put forward by President William Ruto for the positions of Chief Administrative Secretaries.
The 13 are among the 50 CASs proposed, according to a statement issued on Thursday by Head of Public Service, Felix Koskei.
Former senator, Millicent Omanga, nominated for the Ministry of Interior and National Administration, is also on the list.
She happens to be one of the poll rejects who received a spot on the list.
Bishop Margaret Wanjiru has been nominated for the Ministry of Cooperatives and MSEs after running unsuccessfully for the Nairobi senatorial seat.
Ann Wanjiku Mwangi for the position of Deputy President and Rehema Hassan for the position of Prime Cabinet Secretary are two more women who have been nominated.
Beatrice Nkatha Nyaga has been nominated for the position of National Treasury,and Catherine Waruguru, a former Laikipia Women Representative, will undergo screening for the CAS position at the Ministry of Foreign and Diaspora Affairs.
Lilian Cheptoo, a former West Pokot Women Representative, is one of the candidates for the Minister of Commerce and Investments.
For the position at the Ministry of Gender, Charity Kibaba has been nominated.
Others on the list are Jackline Lukalo (forestry), Rehema Jaldesa (tourism), Mary Seneta (energy), and Rael Chebichii (EAC and ASALs).
