Joyce Daniels is a mindset coach, social advocate and public speaker running for the post of local government chairman of Esan Central LGA in Edo State.
Ms Daniels is running under the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
Education and Career
Ms Daniels obtained a degree in Anatomy from the University of Port Harcourt in 2004.
She also has certifications from Nexford University and Carnegie University, New York.
During her stay at the University of Port Harcourt, she was the Vice President of the Human Anatomy Students’ Association.
After graduating, she worked a 9-5 job, leaving in 2007 to pursue her dream of becoming a Master of Ceremonies and life coach.
She is the Executive Director of The Joyce Daniels’ Organisation, a social enterprise that seeks to empower and train individuals in advocacy, public speaking and confidence.
Through The Joyce Daniels’ Organisation, she has provided entrepreneurs in the Ewu Community in Esan Local Government with seed funding for their businesses.
Campaign
Initially, Ms Daniels aspired to a seat in the Edo State House of Assembly.
However, she announced later that she was running for the post of Esan Central Local Government Chairman due to being informed by the constituents that her services will be much more appreciated as LGA Chairman.
Her campaign, the #BetterLIFE4EsanCentral agenda is based on the need for Esan Central LGA to have purposeful leadership to salvage the state of underdevelopment.
